A-Plus Sea Master® Marine Enamel Paint is a redesigned Alkyd-type marine paint having superior durability and resistance against splashes of salt-water and exposure to sunlight. It is the economical choice of paint specially formulated for the demanding and harsh conditions experienced by vessels and structures in frequent contact with seawater. It is highly suitable for wood and metal substrates and for painting interior and exterior parts of the vessel not submerged in water.

Principal Uses: Exterior/Interior: Marine vessels, main decks, railings, topside surfaces of ships and structures made of aluminum, steel, wood, fiberglass, and many more. Can also be used for common household substrates.

Surface Preparation & Precautions

Surface to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned, free from any contaminants that can affect adhesion such as wax, oil, grease, rust, and loose particles.
If previously painted, strip off all loose and chalking paint with A-Plus Supertanggal® Paint Remover.
Sandblasting or powertool-assisted cleaning should be performed on highly corroded steel surfaces prior to painting.
Use a mechanical grinder to sand and matte steel surfaces. For aluminum and fiberglass, use #80 grit sandpaper. For wood surfaces, use #80-150 grit sandpaper.
Avoid painting under extreme environmental conditions and/ or bad weather conditions.
MIX WELL before using.

Painting Procedure

Primer: Observe proper surface preparation. Mix product well before applying at least 2 coats of A-Plus Sea Master® Marine Anti-Corrosive Epoxy Primer using either a brush, roller, or spray. Allow at least 6-8 hours drying time before recoat.
Putty: Patch up minor surface imperfections with fully mixed components of A-Plus A&B® Heavy-Duty Marine Epoxy Adhesive. Sand lightly then spot prime before proceeding with topcoat.
Topcoat: Apply at least 2 coats of A-Plus Sea Master® Marine Enamel Paint using either a brush, roller, or spray.
