A-Plus® 100% Premium Acrylic Latex Paint

Surface Preparation:

1. Surface to be painted must be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt, and other foreign contaminants.
2. Structural defects like leaks, and all sources of internal water pressure must be thoroughly repaired and sealed to prevent lifting, bulging, and other paint problems.
3. Repair all minor non-structural cracks with A-Plus® Concrete Putty. For cracks of more than 2mm, chip-off the area around the crack, then PATCH-UP with a mixture of A-Plus® Plaster Bond and portland cement at 1-Ltr to 3-Kg ratio respectively. Allow to dry before painting. For concrete walls with multiple cracks over a large area, apply new plaster modified with A-Plus® Plaster Bond. Refer to product label for detailed procedures.
4. If previously painted, strip off all paint to bare substrate with A-Plus Supertanggal® Paint Remover.

For Concrete Surfaces:

1. Allow concrete to fully cure for at least 1 month. Otherwise, apply at 1-2 coats of A-Plus® Concrete Sealer.
2. For existing concrete, scrape off old paint to bare substrate. Light sand followed by dusting off dirt and other contaminants. Allow surface to be completely dry and moist-free before painting.

Waterproofing:

1. For areas such as Firewalls, Bathroom, Roofdecks, Basements, etc., requiring positive side waterproofing, apply 3-4 coats of a mixture of A-Plus® Concrete Bond with portland cement at 1-Ltr to 1-Kg ratio. Pot life is approx 4 hours. Allow 2-3 hours drying between each coat. Let cure for 12 hours.
2. For superior waterproofing on both positive and negative side water pressure, apply 2-3 coats of A-Plus Water-Check®.
